On October 22, 2013 the Board of Business Representatives of the San Francisco Building and Construction Trades Council unanimously approved this resolution in support of CCSF. The minutes of that meeting were subsequently approved by Delegates to the Council. As the resolution specified, it was brought before the Executive Board of the California State Building and Construction Trades Council, at its quarterly meeting on December 17, 2013, and it was again approved unanimously.
“WHEREAS, the de-accreditation of CCSF and its resulting closure would have a severe detrimental impact on the San Francisco Building and Construction Trades Council, many of our affiliates’ state-certified apprenticeship programs and San Francisco’s CityBuild Academy, as well as on City College students, faculty, staff, administration and working families across the Bay Area;”
