Wednesday morning, over 35 academic counselors from throughout City College’s counseling departments met to organize to have a voice in their workplace.
The counselors in Financial Aid recently sent a letter of concern to Chancellor Tyler about the leadership of the Vice Chancellor of Student Development (pdf). Unfortunately, the problems outlined in this letter affect not only the Financial Aid office, but counselors throughout Student Development. CCSF counselors are united in advocating for their students and their profession.
