Tomorrow: Educators, Students, Community Leaders Address Threats to Higher Education in San Francisco

Students and faculty at City College, SF State, and SF Art Institute are pleased to invite you to join us tomorrow night for a Workers’ Rights Board hearing co-hosted with Jobs with Justice. The hearing will examine administrative priorities and the current state of faculty working conditions at City College, the SF Art Institute and SF State, with a focus on how these conditions affect students. The intersection of low faculty pay and SF’s housing crisis threatens the stability of faculty livelihoods and students have a right to know how contract negotiations affect them from minimum class size, to teacher well-being and availability.

We will be joined by city, community, and faith leaders as we focus on faculty contract fights across our City to increase public awareness of and support for efforts to maintain and improve the quality of higher education in San Francisco. #educatedbyunionlabor, #educationnotdisplacement
