Faculty have been working without a contract for three months now. The District placed a paltry economic proposal on the table that keeps the majority of bargaining unit below 2007 salaries.
This is unacceptable. We are reaching out to students and communities in our fight for a fair contract. AFT 2121 will conduct a series of informational pickets over the next several weeks to rally our faculty and community supporters as we lead up to the goal of a contract ratification by Thanksgiving.
