Tomorrow — CFT/AFT 2121 lawsuit against the ACCJC

Join us in court again tomorrow to show Judge Karnow your support for our City College and to hold ACCJC accountable for their rogue actions against our California community colleges!

CFT/AFT 2121 Vs. ACCJC

State Superior Court Hearing
Wednesday, October 28 at 9:00am
400 McAllister Street, Room 304

Time and time again ACCJC has tried to use legal maneuvers to delay justice and each time it has failed. Last month, Judge Karnow rejected ACCJC’s latest effort to get the lawsuit brought against them by the CFT and AFT 2121 thrown out.

Last month AFT 2121, CFA, SEIU, and Jobs with Justice organized a Workers’ Rights Board Hearing to shine a light on the current state of faculty working conditions at San Francisco’s public colleges and revealed how faculty working conditions affect student learning conditions. We will present a report from the hearing to press at the teach-in.

Students have a huge stake in negotiations, from minimum class size, to faculty well-being and availability. The intersection of low faculty pay and SF’s housing crisis leaves many of our teachers struggling to survive.

You can help our faculty defend CCSF and win a fair contract!
