AFT 2121 Delegate Assembly affirms Executive Board and Negotiating Team’s call for a strike vote

At yesterday’s meeting the Delegate Assembly passed a resolution affirming the Executive Board and Negotiating Team’s call for a strike vote. The resolution will be presented to the Board of Trustee’s at their meeting this Thursday. View the full resolution.

Now every level of AFT 2121 leadership has called on rank-and-file members to authorize the Executive Board to initiate a strike if the District fails to settle a fair contract during the mediation and fact finding processes. We urge all AFT 2121 members to vote “YES” as we vote next week. Here’s a list of voting dates and locations.
