ACCJC Visiting Team at CCSF

The ACCJC visiting team has arrived this week. Our college has been showing the team what a wonderful institution we are. The work we do every day for students and community is something we should all be proud of.

It is important for all of us to remember that if the ACCJC commissioners had listened to the unanimous view of the ACCJC visiting team in 2012 we would never have had an accreditation crisis at City College.

It should be noted also that the ACCJC commissioners have created a new rule for visiting teams: the teams will no longer be making any recommendations about accreditation status. They will be providing information to the commission.

Although the entire accreditation crisis has been very stressful we should realize that this is our time to shine.
