Our campuses are bustling and Free City has brought thousands of new students to our college this semester. In spite of this we’ve heard that some department chairs have still been directed to cancel classes and not to open new sections even when there are enough students on a waiting list.
Our college is growing. It makes no sense to cut classes right now. Instead we should do everything we can to foster that growth and rebuild our college.
Here are two things you can do to help:
Our union needs to know what you are hearing from your chair about cuts this semester. Please let your precinct rep know.
You can come out to the board meeting at Chinatown Campus room 402 at 4pm today to tell our Board of Trustees: No more cuts, it’s time to grow our college!
