This Saturday – Labor festival | Tuesday – Bargaining vote

All faculty invited – Delegates to vote on bargaining at their next assembly

We invite all faculty to come out to our next Delegate Assembly meeting on Tuesday, September 26th from 3-5pm on the Evans Campus in Room 220D to discuss the 2018-2019 calendar, health premiums, and our contract campaign sunshine document.

Our delegates will vote on our initial bargaining platform at this meeting and we will present it to the District early next month. Come be a part of our union’s democratic process.


Labor Heritage Festival

“Art in the Age of the Resistance” is the theme for the 2017 Western Workers Labor Heritage Festival. Come celebrate the art fueling our social justice movements at the FREE Labor Heritage Festival this Saturday, Sept 16th fron 12-8pm at Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley. The day will include the San Francisco Poster Syndicate, workshops, a book talk with Fred Glass -author of From Mission to Microchip A History of the California Labor Movement, AND a film screening of the new documentary Heather Booth: Changing the World, a film by Lilly Rivlin, and much more.More info
