All Faculty invited – Delegates to vote on initial bargaining platform
We remind all faculty to come out to our Delegate Assembly meeting today from 3-5pm on the Evans Campus in Room 220D to discuss the 2018-2019 calendar, health premiums, and our contract campaign sunshine document.
Our delegates will vote on our Sunshine document, which lays out our objectives and goals for our next contract, at this meeting. We will present it to the District next month. Your precinct reps have helped our sunshine document to take shape. Come help us take the contract campaign to the next step.

Write Governor Brown today
Tell him to ensure 6 weeks guaranteed maternity leave for all K-14 educators and school workers.
Please take a moment to send a letter to Governor Brown today, urging him to sign Assembly Bill 568 and stand with educators and school workers who wish to start families. Sponsored by CFT, AB 568 would require K-12 school districts and community colleges to provide a minimum of six weeks of paid leave for pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, and recovery for both certificated and classified school employees.
Support our Bargaining Team – Flex Day, October 9th
We ask all faculty to show solidarity with our bargaining team. On the next Flex Day there are two ways you can do this:
1) Wear your AFT 2121 t-shirt or button.
2) Fill out an updated membership form and return it to your precinct rep.
