(Saturday, 1/20) Women’s March: Call to action
We are proud to share with you a call to action on this coming Saturday, January 20, 2018 in support of the Women’s March Bay Area in SF. The event kicks off with a rally and many speakers starting at Noon at the Civic Center. The rally becomes a march down Market Street at 2 pm. AFT 2121 will be joining with the The SF Labor Council for the march. Join us at 1:30 pmacross the street at Larkin/Fulton (in between the Asian Art Museum and the SF Public Library) to form a united labor contingent for the march. They will have the Firefighters 798 truck and the Teamsters 856 van to carry those who aren’t up for the full march but wish to ride along.
Jessica Buchsbaum will be our point person with our AFT 2121 banner the day of the march. Please RSVP to her if you are coming to join our AFT 2121 contingent at 1:30PM(firstname.lastname@example.org).

College for All!
After our huge win on Free City College our Union and CFT have endorsed the College for All initiative which would create free tuition for undergraduates in all three public college and university systems in California by taxing the top 0.2% of wealthiest Californians. AFT 2121 is helping with the petition drive to get this on the ballot for the November 2018 election. You can get involved!
