Tomorrow: AFT 2121 Delegate Assembly meets

Join us tomorrow for the first Delegate Assembly of the spring semester. We will discuss our recent victories, going to impasses, and next steps to winning a fair contract.

On Thursday, tell the Board of Trustees: No More Business as Usual

At last, our Board of Trustees now officially have their full powers! We sent a strong message to Chancellor Lamb on FLEX day about the importance of our contract, now we need to send the same message to the Board: No More Business as Usual!

Tell our decision makers why we they must prioritize setting a fair faculty contract. If you are able to do so please join student leaders, our union leaders, and your co-workers in making a public comment to the board. Show your support for our bargaining team and wear your AFT 2121 t-shirt. We plan to pack the room so come a few minutes before the meeting starts at 4:00 pm.

You can help get the word out before the BOT meeting by joining your co-workers in a phone bank this Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at the AFT 2121 office (311 Miramar Ave. @ Ocean).
