Tonight: District 7 outreach for Norman Yee and Prop W

Our current District 7 Supervisor, Norman Yee, is a former City College faculty member and an ally of CCSF. AFT 2121 has endorsed him for re-election. Please Join us Wednesday to help get the word out about his campaign and about Prop W.  Please join us phone-banking for Norman Yee and Free City College Wednesday from 5-8pm at 1601 Ocean Ave.

Tonight: Associated Students host a CCSF Board candidates forum

The Associated Students/Ambassadors of CCSF are hosting and moderating a Board of Trustees Candidate Forum. Tonight from 6PM-8PM at Conlan Hall 101.
The event consists of 1 hour of online submitted questions and 1 hour of public comment. Students are encouraged to come ask the candidates any question that they want. http://tinyurl.com/CCSFBOTFORUM

Tomorrow: Tell the Board of Trustees to focus on growth, support Prop W, stop the cuts and cancellations!

Administration is cutting dozens of classes from the Spring semester! These cuts let our students down and will send our school into a death spiral of diminishing enrollment. Tell the CCSF Board: San Franciscans demand an alternative to cutting our college. It’s time to focus on growth! Please stand with us tomorrow:

PRESS CONFERENCE: 3:30pm (Corner of Ocean/Phelan)
PUBLIC COMMENT: 4:00pm, BOT Meeting (MUB 140)

Join a press conference with District 11 supervisorial candidates in support of passing Prop W to make our college FREE! Expand access; don’t cut it! Then join us for public comment to help educate our Board about the negative effects cuts have on our students, our faculty, our school, and our community.

Saturday morning: Spread the word about Prop W and the SFLC Education Slate

On Saturday we are getting the word out to voters about Prop W (making CCSF Free!) and about the San Francisco Labor Council Education slate including our endorsed candidates for CCSF Board of Trustees, Shanell Williams and Tom Temprano.
