The AFT 2121 Retiree Chapter invites all CCSF faculty to AFT 2121’s Eighth Annual Retirement and Financial Planning Day. Last chance: advance registration is required. Please register by filling out this form before midnight tonight (1/9/17).
Retirement and Financial Planning Day Independent Flex Day, Thursday, January 12, 2017, on the Ocean Campus is free and includes continental breakfast, lunch, great workshops and Professional Development flex activity credit for all activities. Always popular with faculty already considering retirement, this event is for everyone. Plan early, maybe retire early!
Volunteers are needed. We need help with set-up at 7am, registration at 8am, lunch at 11amand clean up at 3pm please contact Wendy Leung in the AFT 2121 office (wleung@aft2121.orgor 415-585-2121) to volunteer for a time that works for you.
If you register but then cannot go please let us know! Workshop locations will be available when you check in at the Cafeteria on January 12th.

San Franciscans overwhelming passed Prop W to fund the Free City College initiative. Now, Mayor Ed Lee wants to drastically reduce the scope of Free City despite being supported by the voters. Please join us tomorrow and show your support to make City College free for ALL San Franciscans!

Last month the full Board of Supervisors initially voted 9-1 to send $9 million in Prop W monies to to the Free City College Initiative. And tomorrow Supes who have already voted yes and newly elected Supes just talking office will hold their final vote on the $9 million needed to make Free City REAL by Fall 2017.
There is no public comment in this round but please come to show your support for Free City by being present in the room while Supes hold another vote. Wear your We are all City College button if you have one or wear yellow and red for public ed!
