Today AFT 2121 leaders collectively sent a strong letter to District AdministrationAdministration has been denying pre-approval requests from faculty hoping to take undergrad courses for professional development and salary column movement credit. Earlier this month, AFT filed a mass grievance to challenge what is effectively a unilateral suspension of the provision in our contract allowing for such approval and salary column credit. We are working to move this forward.

Students will tell their stories at the BOT on Thursday. Faculty members and AFT will be attending in support our students and their futures — please join us! Meet us this Thursday 9/30 on Ocean Campus outside MUB 140 at 5:45pm, a few minutes before public comment starts, to fill out a testimonial in support of out students and hold it up in support while students are commenting.
Students who want to speak should fill out speaker cards in MUB 140. They will be limited to one or two minutes per person.
And please help spread the word to your colleagues and your students. The contact person is Leslie Simon lsimon@ccsf.edu.
