(Wed, 9/26 & Sat, 9/29) Come out with AFT 2121 for Matt Haney for D6 Supervisor

Join AFT 2121 and dozens of labor unions to mobilize and support Matt Haney for District 6 Supervisor. Haney earned the endorsement of AFT 2121 thanks to his years of experience standing up for educators as a member of the Board of Education. He is will also work tirelessly to stop the displacement of our teachers and students. Please come out with us to support him this week:

Matt has a history of working closely with labor unions in his work as a President of the School Board and Executive Director of the UC Student Association, and has spent his entire career as a community organizer. He’s worked with unions and their members at the state and local level to pass progressive revenue measures, support contract fights, and pursue economic justice. That’s why the SF Labor Council and 22 unions are supporting him.

Our AFT 2121 member Tenaya Lafore has asked for help with finding out what kind of interest there is among CCSF faculty in “Know Your Rights” workshops about your rights as employees of CCSF. This survey is confidential. Newer faculty, faculty of color, and part-time faculty are encouraged to participate.
