Calling all members: Elections matter

Vote by mail ballots have dropped. It’s time to start voting! Here are our AFT 2121 November 2018 Election Endorsements

We’ve worked hard to endorse candidates who share our values, are clear public education champions, will work with us to expand and make the Free City program permanent, and understand the importance of CCSF to our communities. We have a real chance of electing our progressive candidates elected this time. If we can show up for our people and help get them elected. And we need your help.

We’re reaching out to voters in San Francisco and in the East Bay so please: Sign up to help!

(Mon. 10/15 and beyond) Solidarity with Hotel & Restaurant Workers

AFT 2121 has “adopted” a picket line in Unite Here Local 2’s ongoing strike against all local Marriott Hotels. Please join us on the picket line as we show solidarity with our fellow workers every Monday from 4pm-7pm at the Courtyard Marriott, 299 2nd St., for the duration of the strike.

(Tues. 10/16) Flex Day Union Happy Hour

On Flex Day we invite all faculty to stop by our Flex Day Table in Diego Rivera Plaza between 8am-12pm and in the cafeteria from 12:30-1:30pm and then come decompress with us at the end of the day for our Union Happy hour at the Ocean Ale House (1314 Ocean Ave.) from 4:30-6:30pm. First round’s on us!
