(Wed. 4/10) AFSCME 3299 on an unfair labor practice (ULP) strike

AFSCME 3299 is going on STRIKE. AGAIN to protest the university’s pattern of illegal intimidation and violation of members’ rights.
Over the last 11 months, UC workers have gone on strike three times to protest growing inequality. During this time, the UC has engaged in illegal conduct ranging from workplace retaliation to effectively condoning the assault of striking workers on the picket line.
For these reasons, 25,000 AFSCME 3299 members will be walking off the job to protest UC’s pattern of abuse and to hold them accountable to practicing the values that they profess to defend.
On Wednesday, April 10th. Please join one of the 15+ picket lines across the state, from 9am to 5pm. Rallies at noon.
