This survey will provide a Needs Assessment to determine the gaps in City College of San Francisco’s (CCSF) approach to diversification of faculty, especially among African Americans and Native Americans, who are woefully underrepresented at the college, both as instructional and non-instructional faculty. The results from this survey will contribute to a structured approach by AFT 2121 resulting in a published report that recommends an action plan that outlines explicit policies, infrastructures and systems to support a more diversified faculty and that addresses the lack of representation of African Americans, Latinx Americans and Native Americans.
