Dear Faculty,

We’ve fielded a lot of initial questions (and energy) about the news of a Tentative Agreement. Your team has put together a “TA Toolkit” with what we hope you’ll need to make this big decision. Upcoming Tentative Agreement Events

There is a special faculty union meeting (Delegate Assembly) on December 5th from 3-5pm. After attendees discuss the TA, your elected precinct reps and delegates will vote on whether to recommend ratification to the membership.

Pending Delegate Assembly approval, online voting on the agreement will launch on Friday, December 8th and close on Wednesday, December 13th.

To ensure everybody understands the agreement, we will then hold online informational sessions for members Wednesday through Friday of next week (December 6–8th). RSVP for all sessions here & note the final session overlaps with the AFT 2121 Holiday Party on Ocean Campus.  

• Wednesday: 10-11am on Zoom

• Wednesday: 1-2pm on Zoom

• Thursday: 9-10am on Zoom

• Friday: Drop in question and answer from 12-5PM in the Ocean Campus Cafeteria. This will overlap with the AFT 2121 Holiday Party–come for food, beverage, and music from 3:30-7:30pm in the Cafeteria.
