General Membership Meeting

Have questions about your OPEB over-deduction repayments, heating issues in your building, AFT’s enrollment campaign, or the upcoming election? Whatever it is, your union’s once-a-semester General Membership Meeting is a chance for all AFT 2121 members to have your voice heard and be a part of your faculty union community.
Union power is collective power. When we work together, we are able to achieve the most for us all. The General Membership Meeting is a key part of that democratic decision-making structure. So come share your priorities, successes, concerns, and questions, and hear about all the work your colleagues have been doing for the good of faculty, students, and the college.

Textbank for Alan Wong Thurs 10/10 from 4-6pm on Zoom
Ballots are out! Join your colleagues for a textbank this Thursday 10/10 from 4-6pm to connect with SF voters about the importance of re-electing Alan Wong for the future of our college. Ballots have already been mailed, so now is the time to use our voices as SF educators to spread the word that Alan Wong is our choice for the Board of Trustees. Reply “textbank” to this email to join on Thursday, and sign up here for future textbanking and mobilizations for Alan and our other endorsed candidates.
Alan Wong was the lone vote against layoffs two years ago, and he was a key voice for our new contract. He has worked to encourage competitive salaries for faculty and defended student access to essential services and classes. In order to grow the college, better serve our students, and meet the needs of our city, we need Alan’s leadership and vote on our Board!
