COPE Endorsement Vote

AFT’s Committee on Political Education (COPE) met today (10/22) to discuss AFT 2121’s endorsements of Prop L and Assemblyman Matt Haney. At the meeting, we heard from the Prop L campaign manager about the measure and its impact on students and workers in San Francisco. We also reviewed and discussed Matt Haney’s AFT 2121 candidate questionnaire, which you can read here. Members who attended the COPE meeting voted to recommend endorsing both Prop L and Matt Haney.
