Save the Date – AFT 2121 Financial Planning on Independent Flex Day – January 9, 2025

Given the outcome of the election, the future of the economy, the financial markets and higher education are more uncertain than at any time in the recent past. That makes planning for the future more important than ever.
The younger you are when you start planning your financial future, the more secure that future will be. One part of that future will be your retirement. Planning for retirement when you are 25 might seem far off but it isn’t. Whatever your age, young or not-so-young, you are invited to the 16th annual Financial Planning Day on January 9, 2025.
The event will be held virtually again this year. There will be workshops on many aspects of financial planning for the future. Details on registration will be available soon. Flyer here!

This #GivingTuesday, you can support undocumented students through City DREAM
City DREAM is a product of the hard work and dedication of previous generations of undocumented youth activists at City College. The creation of a safe space for students on campus, regardless of immigration status, began with the founding of the student organization Voices of Immigrants Demonstrating Achievement (VIDA) in 2012. The combined efforts of students, faculty, staff, and administrators furthered this work and led to the creation of City DREAM in Fall 2019. Today on #GivingTuesday (and beyond!) we are asking for the community’s support in helping us bring back CCSF’s DREAM Scholarship. We have not been able to offer this since 2018. Our goal is to bring it back this year! Now more than ever we remain committed to the advocacy for undocumented students.
A one time donation can be made through the Foundation or CCSF community members can also enroll in a payroll deduction to help us award our amazing scholars and help them achieve their dreams!
