Last Tuesday at our September COPE meeting, City DREAM coordinator Maria Rodriquez, counselor Leti Silva, and attorney Veronica Guinto, presented a training on Moving from Allyship to Action. The training highlighted actions we can take right now to protect undocumented (or presumed undocumented) students, as well as clarifying the protections that being a Sanctuary City and a Sanctuary Campus can (and can’t) provide. The City DREAM Center will provide additional training in October at both the Mission and Ocean campuses; more details to come.
