CCSF DREAM Center: Immigrant Student Defense Training
New time: Tuesday, September 23rd from 3-4:30pm
Next Tuesday at our September COPE meeting, the City DREAM coordinator, Maria Rodriguez, and counselor, Leti Silva, along with their legal council will present a training entitled, Moving from Allyship to Action. One of the greatest concerns many faculty have is how best to support our students and what to do if ICE shows up. This extremely important and timely training will help give us the knowledge and resources to help create safer spaces for our undocumented students and our college and community.

National Day of Defiance – NO KINGS II, October 18th

CCSF faculty showed up at the first No Kings protest back in June, which drew millions of people to the streets to push back against the Trump administration. Join us again on Saturday, October 18, for the No Kings – National Day of Defiance. Find a local action to attend with your members on our CFT Fight Back website and make your voice heard.
Can’t make it on the 18th? Check out CFT’s Resistance Hub for other ways to get prepared and take action. The Resistance Hub is CFT’s training program and space to engage in the fight back against autocracy and the fight for democracy. You can visit the cftfightback.org website for more information and to RSVP.
