The first Delegate Assembly of the semester is this afternoon and we have a very important item of business – electing the next bargaining team! The agenda includes a report on the results of our fall bargaining survey and hearing from the candidates themselves. You can read candidate statements here, and they are also linked on the aft2121.org homepage.
The bargaining team can have up to 15 members. Ten members will be elected by the Delegate Assembly today. In order to make sure the team is as fully representative as possible of faculty across the college, following the election the President of AFT 2121 can propose up to 5 additional members to the Executive Board for their approval.
