Teachers across this City–from K-12 (UESF) to City College (AFT 2121)–have joined forces to fight the Billionaire takeover of San Francisco’s public schools. Make no mistake: dark money super PACs now influence a majority of our School & College Boards (see Mission Local on K-12 & here on CCSF). We know their agenda: school closures, class cuts, and fewer opportunities for working and middle class San Franciscans.

That’s why it’s so important that you vote for Leah LaCroix, Jeremy Lee, and Dr. Bunny McFadden for San Francisco College Board. Leah, Jeremy, and Bunny are backed by and accountable to teachers, students, & community, not the Billionaires. City College just closed the Downtown Campus after nearly a half century of service. Students remain locked out of vital programs, and now the Chancellor chosen by Billionaire-backed Trustees is under investigation for financial misconduct. Enough is enough.
Leah, Jeremy, and Dr. Bunny have the courage and vision it takes to fight for a stronger City College. You can learn more about each candidate here, and see AFT 2121’s full voter guide below–the educators of City College urge you to vote for candidates who will stand up for our country’s working families, who defend the promise of public education, and who will stay accountable to us, the people, not the Billionaires.
