This Tuesday and Wednesday, August 6 and 7, AFT 2121 will be bargaining to help save City College.
As you know, our contract expired on December 31, 2012 and has not been extended despite many long hours at the table over the spring.
As we reported previously, we will be bargaining intensively with City College’s administration this week. Negotiations will be held at 33 Gough Street on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 6 and 7, starting Tuesday at 10am. Depending on how many people show up, the sessions will be held in the conference room or the auditorium (which are right next to each other).
The bargaining process will be open for AFT 2121 members to observe, and you will be welcome to provide input in caucuses of the union negotiating team. Please plan to attend for some or all of these days if you’re able, and click here to let us know if you’re planning to be there.
