This Wednesday: Support CFT/AFT 2121 Vs. ACCJC in court

Join us  in court again this Wednesday to show Judge Karnow your support for our City College. Time and time again ACCJC has tried to use legal maneuvers to delay justice. Each time their attempts to avoid responsibility for their actions has failed.

CFT/AFT 2121 Vs. ACCJC

Wednesday, October 28 at 9:00am
California State Superior Court
400 McAllister Street, Room 304

Last month, ACCJC’s latest effort to get our lawsuit thrown out was rejected by Judge Karnow. ACCJC must be held accountable for their rogue actions against our California community colleges!

On Thursday: Student teach-in on our fair contract fight!

Join with AFT 2121, City College faculty, City College students, and Jobs with Justice organizers for a teach-in. Our faculty working conditions are students’ learning conditions.

Ocean Campus, MUB 140

RSVP and invite on Facebook

Students have a huge stake in negotiations, from minimum class size, to faculty well-being and availability. Invite your students or bring your classes to help get the word out about what is stake for students in our contract negotiations.

Help us fight for an affordable San Francisco!

The November election is just around the corner on Tuesday, November 3rd! AFT 2121 is proud to continue fighting for an affordable San Francisco by working with SF tenants, families, community and labor groups to pass Prop. I, Prop. F, elect Aaron Peskin to the Board of Supervisors for District 3, and elect Wendy Aragon to the CCSF Board of Trustees.

You can help the Sierra Club fight for an affordable San Francisco

Our local has been in a struggle for the future of CCSF and of San Francisco itself. We have worked with students and our community allies to keep quality public education accessible to all of our City’s communities and to fight for an affordable San Francisco for our faculty and students.
The SF Sierra Club is also working for an affordable San Francisco. It has endorsed propositions designed to meet the challenges of the affordability crisis. Now there is an effort by a pro-development luxury condo group to take over the Sierra Club and reverse the Club’s continuing stand on affordable housing.
If you are interested you could sign up as a Sierra Club member by tomorrow,October 27th, 2015 so that you would be eligible to vote in the Sierra Club elections later this year. https://vault.sierraclub.org/ways-to-give
