Every level of AFT 2121 leadership has called on rank-and-file members to authorize the Executive Board to initiate a strike if the District fails to settle a fair contract during the mediation and fact finding processes. We urge all AFT 2121 members to vote “YES.” Our vote begins next week and runs from February 29 through March 8.
At this point after over a year of negotiations we need every tool at our disposal, including the possibility of withholding our labor, to compel the District to deal fairly with us. Find out where and when to vote.
