(Monday, 10/9) Support our Bargaining Team
On Flex Day (Monday, 10/9) AFT 2121 asks all faculty to show solidarity with our Bargaining Team by:
1) Wearing your AFT 2121 t-shirt or button.
2) Filling out an updated membership form and returning it to your precinct rep.
3) You can also stop by our union’s Flex table in front of the Cafeteria entrance closest to the Student Union Building to bring us a membership form or pick up a button.
Save the date for our contract campaign kick-off action on October 26th from 3:00-5:00 PM at Mission Campus starting immediately before the Board of Trustees meeting.
Bernie Sanders visits City College to celebrate Free City!
On Friday, September 22, AFT 2121 and the broad coalition we helped build to make City College of San Francisco free again for San Franciscans celebrated our Free City victory and our college’s vision and persistence with Senator Bernie Sanders, Supervisor Jane Kim, and the CCSF community.
(Thursday, 10/5) AFT 2121 sponsors screening of 9500 Liberty
You’re invited to join an AFT 2121 sponsored screening of 9500 Liberty a documentary about the explosive battle over immigration waged in Prince Williams County, Virginia in 2007.
Thursday, October 5th, 6:30 pm Mission Campus, 1125 Valencia, Rm 109
In addition to the screening, Sister District Project, a grass roots political organization, will discuss how their work in Virginia can lead to better immigration policy.

initial bargaining platform to the CCSF Board of Trustees, we are working to continue reaching out to our membership. Your Union reps will be at John Adams Campus on
Tuesday, 10/10. We will be tabling throughout the day, reaching out to faculty who work at John Adams.

We are looking forward to learning more about the issues faculty face and we will be continuing our organizing work to build power through active Union membership.
