The Trinational organized support for the Mexican teachers’ massive protest against standardized testing, and the long-running Oaxaca teacher’s civic center movement occupation, which became a general social struggle that brought down a government. The conference focused on questions for labor activists such as:
- What are models for movement-building from Mexico, Canada, and across the US?
- Given the withering corporate and government assault we’re up against, what are we learning about how to win?
